In related news, Mad Men star Bryan Batt, who played Sterling Cooper’s closeted art director Sal, will guest star on Ugly Betty. TV Guide says he will play “Spencer Cannon, a handsome soap opera actor in his mid-40s who Amanda (Becki Newton) tries to set up with Marc (Michael Urie).”

The Gossip Girl cast wrapped up filming for the season this week — they taped the upcoming season finale in New York City yesterday (March 10)!

The gang celebrated the end of another successful season at Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge in NYC this past Saturday, a source tells JustJared.com.

On Tuesday (March 8), the cast filmed scenes at an East Side hospital as Blair’s housekeeper, Dorota (Zuzanna Szadkowski), gave birth. Oh, baby!

Heidi Klum rocks an understated, cheerful Anthony Williams dress on the April 2010 cover of Marie Claire.

Williams credits Klum for giving him inspiration for the dress: “Heidi’s pregnancy was happening right before our faces! he laughs. I thought, this woman is not sacrificing fashion at all. Ryan Gosling may not be vegetarian, but that’s not stopping him from ruffling feathers at McDonald’s over the company’s outdated chicken-slaughter practices. The 29-year-old Canadian actor has just fired off a letter on behalf of PETA to McDonald’s CEO Jim Skinner. Check it:

“Dear Mr. Skinner, I was shocked to learn from my friends at PETA that McDonald’s, a company that claims to be an industry leader in animal welfare, still allows its suppliers to use an outdated chicken slaughter method that results in broken wings and legs and causes birds to be scalded to death in defeathering tanks.

“Many of McDonald’s suppliers in Europe already use a much more humane slaughter method that eliminates the worst cruelty. What’s your excuse?

“Because no federal laws govern the treatment of chickens during slaughter, the responsibility lies in your company’s hands to create and maintain a high standard of animal welfare. I hope you will agree that the time has come for McDonald’s to truly take action to reduce the suffering of chickens killed for its restaurants. I look forward to hearing your decision. Thank you. Sincerely, Ryan Gosling.”

In 2008, Ryan wrote a similar letter to the largest franchisee of KFC’s in Canada asking the company to update to the more humane, modern methods; just days later, the company that coordinates the purchase of chicken for all Canadian KFCs agreed to phase in the purchase of 100 percent of chicken from suppliers that use these methods.

Rachel Bilson heads to another biz meeting while walking through a parking garage on Wednesday (March 10) in Los Angeles.

The 28-year-old actress is expected to attend the premiere of her new movie, Waiting For Forever, on Thursday (April during the the 15th Gen Art Film Festival at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City.

In the movie, Emma (Bilson) and Will (Tom Sturridge) play long lost best friends—or so Emma thinks. When her mediocre TV show is canceled and news of her father’s illness spreads, Emma’s forced back to her hometown, where she meets a new set of unexpected struggles that challenge her to redefine the meaning of family, love and how we live our lives.

Betty White will host Saturday Night Live’s special Mother’s Day episode on May 8, NBC has announced.

The ep will also reunite six former female SNL cast members: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer and Rachel Dratch.

“Years ago, I turned [SNL] down three times,” Betty told USA Today. “It’s so New York, and I’m not New York at all. But my agent said he’d divorce me if I didn’t do it, and I love my agent.”

The 24-year-old Israeli model showcased the new LV collection designed by Marc Jacobs.

The show managed to book many top models including Laetitia Casta, Elle Macpherson, Adriana Lima (pictured inside), and Alessandra Ambrosio.

“Designers are always talking about how they design for women, and then you look at our runways and there no girls over 20,” Marc told The Guardian. “This time, I set out to cast a variety of sexy women - younger, older, thin, voluptuous, from every ethnic background.”

Kate Gosselin chops off some inches as she gets a new haircut at Ted Gibson’s hair salon on Wednesday (March 10) in Tribeca, New York.

According to Radaronline, the 34-year-old reality show mom spent 7 hours at the salon before grabbing lunch with her dance partner Tony Dovolani.

Kate is currently getting ready for her big debut on Dancing With The Stars. Other celebrity competitors include figure skater Evan Lysacek, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, and Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger.
